Top attractions in Berlin include the impressive Reichstag building (home to the German parliament, the Bundestag) which provides great views over the city, as does the Fernsehturm (TV Tower) at Alexanderplatz.

View the famous Brandenburg Gate. Then see the leftovers of the Berlin Wall and discover its stories in the Checkpoint Charlie Mauermuseum - also see the Topography of Terror. Then there’s Potsdamer Platz including its Filmmuseum - and lots of other museums throughout Berlin, including the German Historical Museum, the Pergamonmuseum, the Jewish Museum Berlin, the DDR Museum, the interesting Story of Berlin museum (includes a nuclear bomb shelter!) and many more.

Charlottenburg Palace is also worthy of a visit - and the kids will enjoy Berlin’s Zoo and Aquarium. So, plenty to do basically.
